Pre K Girl

Lindsay just completed her first week of Preschool. She loves it. She has made a few new friends and already has two birthday parties to attend this weekend. The official word from Mrs.Henkel is that Lindsay should be teaching the class. We know she is ready for Kindergarten but the state of Texas doesn't agree. You must be five by August 31st. The sad thing is, if she had been born seven weeks premature with difficulties in learning and other problems of prematurity, she would be "ready" for school. I'll get off my soapbox now. The good thing about waiting until next year to start school is it gives us another year to save for college. Don't you know by the time she is out of college, we are going to be POOR. Study hard kiddos, I sense the need for lots of scholarships.
